Charles Lamb
Charles Lamb was an English essayist, poet, and antiquarian best known for his classic works, Essays of Elia and A Masque of Days. He was born in London, the son of a clerk in the East India Company. He was educated at Christ's Hospital, where he became friends with Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
